Manhunt on for suspected rebels who burned Globe cellsite in Palawan

Police in Palawan province have launched a manhunt for at least four suspected New People's Army rebels who reportedly burned a Globe Telecom Inc. cellsite on the island before dawn Tuesday. Radio dzXL on Wednesday cited belated police reports indicating the incident occurred at 1 a.m. at Sitio Los Pigados in Abaraan village in Roxas town. No one was reported hurt in the incident, where the rebels introduced themselves as NPAs to cellsite caretaker Nestor Gregory. Four men wore bonnets in attacking the Globe cellsite, Roxas town police director Inspector Pedro Bara said.
