PNP accepts electric jeep donation, embarks on poetry reading for kids

The Philippine National Police Community Relations Group recently accepted an electric jeep donation coinciding with their 15th anniversary. The 20 seater e-jeep, donated by the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, will be offering free rides within Camp Crame. The e-jeep is not the only new thing for the PNP. Following PNoy's directive that the public is boss, the PNP wants to change its negative image through visits to private and public schools, according to a report on GMA News’ Balitanghali on Monday.
PNP officers will recite a poem that will explain to children what the organization is all about. One of the poem's messages is that police officers are approachable and dependable. The poem, titled "Isang Tula Para sa Mag-aaral" will be read to classes in grades 1-3. - Carmela G. Lapeña, RJAB Jr., GMANews.TV
