LPG dealers roll back prices anew

Consumers received another welcomed break from high prices as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices went down by 50 centavos per kilo effective Tuesday. Radio dzBB reported the rollback by the LPG Marketers' Association (LPGMA) meant a P6 drop in the price of 11-kg LPG tanks. LPGMA president Arnel Ty said this was due to lower prices of LPG in the world market. The rollback also meant that from P554 per tank, the suggested retail price for an 11-kg tank of LPG now stands at P548. It actually the LPGMA's second rollback this month. Last July 1, LPGMA member-brands also imposed a 50-centavo-per-kilo rollback. — LBG, GMANews.Tv
