10 hurt in bus accident on EDSA in Quezon City

At least 10 people were reported injured after a passenger bus hit another bus on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Balintawak area in Quezon City early Saturday. Radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported authorities are now tracking down the driver of one of the buses who fled after the incident. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said the accident occurred early Saturday morning when a Roval bus (PWB-514) hit a Malanday Metrolink bus. Police are now looking for the driver of the Roval bus, initially identified only as Rosapeña. Anastacio Soberano, conductor of the Malanday Metrolink bus, said he did not immediately feel the impact as he was busy issuing tickets to passengers.
