Call center agent does a Hayden Kho Jr., gets arrested

For doing a Hayden Kho Jr., a call center agent is now in hot water. Edwardson Base of Quezon City was arrested by Manila police operatives Sunday morning after his former girlfriend accused him of posting their sex video on the popular social networking site Facebook. Base, who was nabbed in a sting operation in SM Manila, is facing charges for allegedly violating the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act of 2004 and the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009. According to the victim, a 20-year-old college student whose name was withheld by the police, she and the suspect were regularly communicating through text messages for four years before he became her boyfriend. She said she remembered Base videotaping their intimate moments but added that he managed to convince her that the file has been deleted. The victim also said they have already broken up when she learned that the video has been uploaded and circulated on the Internet. She said they ended their relationship last May because of pressure from her parents, and that she learned of the sex video circulating on the Internet only this month. Base, when confronted through the phone, asked to meet the victim, who tipped the police about their scheduled rendezvous. The arresting team was lead by Chief Inspector Marcelo Reyes, chief of the Manila Police District-General Assignment Section (MPD-GAS). Kho Jr., a young celebrity doctor, is facing charges for allegedly recording and uploading his intimate moments with his ex-lover, actress Katrina Halili, who claimed the video was taken and uploaded without her consent. - Sophia Regina Dedace/KBK, GMANews.TV
