Report: Cebu airport guard shoots superior dead


An airport security guard in Cebu shot his superior dead Tuesday after an argument over training fee. Jessie Humadyao, assigned to the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), shot his boss Mustang Security Agency, Inc. (MSAI) operations manager Sebastian Amble, dzXL radio reported Tuesday night. MSAI provides security guards to the MCIAA. Initial investigation by the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office showed the incident occurred at 4 p.m., when Amble tried to collect a P500 training fee from Humadyao. After an argument Humadyao shot Amble with a 9-mm pistol. Amble died from four gunshot wounds in the body. Humadyao surrendered to the Lapu-Lapu police. The incident prompted MCIAA general manager Danilo Francia to call a meeting to discuss problems with the airport's security personnel, the report said. — LBG/RSJ, GMANews.TV
