MRT3 operations cease from Taft to Shaw

The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue stopped its operations from the Taft terminal station to the Shaw Boulevard Central Station at 8:39 a.m. Friday, due to a defective train. As of 9:23 a.m., the stalled train was already running at 15 kph. Normal operations were expected to resume within 30 minutes, after the traffic has been regularized, said Rossel Baricanosa of the MRT3 Control Center. "Sa ngayon, yung defective train ay moving na, pero mabagal pa ang takbo...," Baricanosa told GMANews.TV.
