Soldier linked to Maguindanao massacre nabbed — report

A soldier linked to the massacre of at least 57 people in Maguindanao province last year was arrested in Mindanao Friday. But a report on dzBB radio said military officials declined to give further details on the soldier, who was arrested Friday morning. The report only said the soldier was "connected" to former Maguindanao governor and Ampatuan patriarch Andal Ampatuan Sr. A separate report by the station's Davao affiliate quoted the Army's 6th Infantry Division spokesman Col. Benjamin Hao as saying the soldier is now under interrogation.
