Report: Lightning kills 4, hurts 2 in Camarines Sur

At least four people were killed and two others were injured after being hit by lightning in Camarines Sur province in Bicol, Friday afternoon. Radio dzXL reported Saturday the incident occurred at 1 p.m. Friday in an open field owned by Remeque Besenio in Sta. Teresita village in Baao town. Those killed were identified as Roger Felices, Mario Morilla, Benjie Morilla and a certain Michael. Injured were Marie Felices and Jamila Leslie, who were rushed to the Bicol Medical Center in Naga City. Baao town police investigator PO2 Eddie Casile said the victims were keeping watch over farm animals when it rained and lightning hit them. — LBG, GMANews.TV
