Makati fire razes P10M in properties — report

Some P10 million in properties went up in smoke as fire razed a residential area in a posh subdivision in Makati City after midnight Saturday. Radio dzBB reported early Sunday no one was initially reported injured in the fire that destroyed the second floor of the house of Dr. Luis Mabilangan at Dasmariñas Village. Initial investigation showed the fire started on the second floor of the house along Dasmariñas Street at 12:07 a.m. Sunday, and reached the fifth alarm before firefighters placed it under control at 1:15 a.m. Arson investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, which they estimated may have destroyed some P10 million in properties. — LBG, GMANews.TV
