Manila-Batanes flights canceled due to 'Ester' — report

Bad weather brought by tropical depression "Ester" forced an airline to cancel at least two of its flights between Manila and Batanes province Saturday. Radio dzBB reported Saturday that SEAIR canceled flights 605 and 606 – from Manila to Basco in Batanes and Basco to Manila. On the other hand, the report said a Gulf Air flight from Manila to Bahrain was delayed due to technical problems. At least 10 areas, most in northern Luzon, were placed under Storm Signal No. 1 as Ester continued to move toward Cagayan on Saturday.
