Bomb threat grips Iloilo airport — report

Less than 24 hours after a deadly blast at the Zamboanga International Airport Thursday night, a bomb threat hit the Iloilo International Airport Friday. Radio dzBB reported Saturday a male called up the airport at 10 a.m. Friday and claimed he left a bomb there. The call prompted airport authorities to call in the local police, which sent an Explosive and Ordnance Division team. A search of the airport yielded negative results, however. Thursday's incident in Zamboanga killed at least two and injured 24, and prompted authorities to beef up security in air and sea ports nationwide. — LBG, GMANews.TV
