2 predawn fires hit Quezon City


Two predawn fires hit residential and commercial areas in Quezon City Sunday, but no one was initially reported injured. Radio dzBB reported the first fire started at Unit 845 of the Sikatuna Bliss residential area in Sikatuna village at 3:58 a.m. Initial investigation showed the fire started at the house of one Philip Enriquez and reached the fourth alarm before firefighters placed it under control at 4:45 a.m. The second fire occurred at a KTV bar along Kamias Road, shortly after 5 a.m. But the fire reached only the first alarm before firefighters quickly put it out. Arson investigators are looking into the cause of both fires. — LBG, GMANews.TV
