Actor Charlie Davao dies, says Kuya Germs

Veteran character actor Charlie Davao, father of actor Ricky Davao, passed away at the Philippine General Hospital Sunday after battling colon cancer for months. In an interview on radio dzBB, talent manager German "Kuya Germs" Moreno announced the elder Davao's demise. The details of his wake and interment will be announced soon, he added. "Si Ginoong Charlie Davao, isa sa mga magagaling na character actors, ay pumanaw kaninang umaga (Mr. Charlie Davao, one of the best character actors, passed away this morning)," Moreno said.
