2 killed, 1 hurt in freak predawn accident in Cavite

At least two people were killed while another was injured after an owner-type jeep they were riding crashed into the convenience store at a gas station in Cavite province before dawn Saturday. Radio dzBB’s Allan Gatus reported the incident occurred before 6 a.m. at the Petron gas station along Aguinaldo Highway in Bacoor town. “Ayon sa pasahero nakainom sila (The passengers said they came from a drinking session)," said members of rescue teams that tried to help the victims. One of the fatalities was initially identified as Nelson Gutierrez, driver of the jeep (DSF-736). The other fatality, who was seated beside the driver, was not immediately named.
