Phivolcs: Magnitude-3.7 quake rocks Davao Oriental


A magnitude-3.7 quake rocked Davao Oriental province late Saturday, but state seismologists said no damage or aftershock was expected. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at 5:20 p.m., with the epicenter at 19 km southwest of Mati town. Phivolcs said the quake was tectonic, and was felt at Intensity V in Masara village in Maco town in Compostela Valley province. It was also felt at Intensity II in Nabunturan town in Compostela Valley, Phivolcs added. — LBG, GMANews.TV
