One killed in Bataan road accident

A 54-year-old man was killed after figuring in a freak predawn accident in Balanga City in Bataan province on Monday. Radio dwIZ reported that the victim, identified as Simplicio Domingo, was cruising along Cataning village in Balanga City when his van allegedly hit a rock and turned turtle. The incident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. and the police looking into reports that Domingo was allegedly speeding when he figured in the accident. Initial investigation showed Domingo’s red-and-white van (with plate number UMR 301) went out of control after hitting the rock, and turned turtle. Bystanders rushed him to the Bataan General Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival. –VVP, GMANews.TV
