Report: 2 dead, 1 wounded in predawn Pampanga attack

At least two women were stabbed dead while a 12-year-old girl was in critical condition after at least two men broke into their house in Pampanga province before dawn Wednesday, a radio report said. Police have started a manhunt for one of at least two suspects who broke into the victims’ house at Villa Barrosa in Dolores village in the City of San Fernando. “Pinasok ang apartment kung saan nakatira ang tatlong babae, maaring nanlaban ito (The men broke into the apartment of the victims, who may have tried to fight back)," San Fernando City police investigator PO3 Edwin Abad said in an interview on dzBB radio. He did not immediately name the suspects and the victims. He said the sole survivor, a 12-year-old girl, was still recuperating at a hospital.
