Report: 'PDEA agent' falls in anti-drug operation

An alleged anti-drug agent was arrested with along his live-in partner in a sting operation in a mall in Quezon City Monday. Radio dzBB's Cecilia Villarosa reported that the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested Frederick Escrimera, 34 and Maria Lacaran, 40, at the food court of the mall. Escrimera, who claimed to be an anti-drug agent, yielded a brick of cocaine and three sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), the report said. PDEA agents also seized from him a shotgun, ammunition for a 12-gauge shotgun, and a Nissan sedan. –VVP, GMANews.TV
