DFA warns vs fictitious hospital in Israel

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said the Philippine Embassy has confirmed that the "Jordan Valley Medical Center" is "fictitious and no such hospital exists in Israel." Philippine officials in Israel stressed this Monday after several prospective applicants verified job opportunities at one "Jordan Valley Medical Center" in Israel. "This announcement is being issued in response to reports and queries from prospective applicants verifying job opportunities offered to them by certain unscrupulous recruiters to work in various capacities for a 'Jordan Valley Medical Center in Israel," said the DFA, citing a report from the Philippine Embassy. The DFA said there are no job openings for hospital workers such as doctors, nurses, medical technicians, ambulance crew, or drivers in Israel.
