Pop singer Sean Kingston to grace new PETA ad

Pop music sensation Sean Kingston has joined the ranks of Justin Bieber and Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington — celebrities who have teamed up with the Asia division of the international animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). His message: “Chill with your dogs. Never chain them." Kingston, pioneer of an eclectic brand of music called “reggae fusion," is set to appear in a PETA advertisement with his pet dog, Stella, discouraging pet owners from chaining their dogs. “Your dogs are your best friends, so keep them inside and make them part of the family. Because life on a chain is no life at all," the ad reads.

PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with over two million members and supporters, according to group’s official website. In a recent interview, Kingston said he wouldn’t mind having Stella with him in the studio because “it makes for a better vibe." “There’s been, like, a huge chemistry between me and her," he said. The PETA ad featuring Kingston and his Stella will be launched on the Supafest Manila 2010 concert on September 18 at the Mall of Asia concert grounds. Kingston and other international stars T-Pain, Flo Rida, and Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland are set to perform. - Larissa Mae Suarez/KBK, GMANews.TV
