Report: Fire razes 50 houses in Cebu City

Fire of undetermined origin razed at least 50 houses in Cebu City before noon Saturday. A report on Visayas-based Bombo Radyo said the fire occurred in Sitio Riverside and Kana-as Banawa in Guadalupe village. Initial reports said the fire spread quickly as the houses in the area were made of light materials. However, responding firefighters managed to place it under control.
