40 hurt in Naga City bus crash

At least 40 people were reported injured after a bus they were riding crashed into an acacia tree in Naga City in Bicol before dawn Saturday. Bombo Radyo reported the bus from Metro Manila figured in the accident at around 5:30 a.m. in Del Rosario village in Naga City. The victims were rushed to the Bicol Medical Center for treatment. Among the injured were the two bus drivers. Initial investigation showed the bus driver tried to avoid hitting a jeep in the middle of the road, but lost control of the bus, which crashed into the tree.
