No glitch as Aquino casts vote in Tarlac

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III has cast his vote for barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials at a voting center in Tarlac province, without any glitch. It took Aquino only 15 minutes for Aquino to cast his vote from the time he arrived at the polling precinct. This was a far cry the presidential election in May when Aquino had to wait in line for more than three hours to cast his vote, due to a glitch in the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine used there. Radio dzBB's Tuesday Niu reported that Aquino arrived at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Azucarera de Tarlac Elementary School in Barangay Central, Tarlac. With his sisters Pinky Abellada and Ballsy Cruz, Aquino then fell in line at Precinct 175-A. By 10:15 a.m., Aquino, who was wearing a yellow polo and blue-green slacks, had finished casting his vote. – VVP, GMANews.TV
