Six people hurt in freak Halloween accident

At least six people were injured after figuring in a freak road accident after visiting a cemetery in Quezon City on Halloween night. Radio dzBB's Paulo Santos said the six were aboard a speeding tricycle along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) when they were hit by a speeding utility vehicle. The injured were rushed to the Quezon City General Hospital for treatment. Tricycle driver Dennis Baculo suffered serious injuries, the report said. The other victims were not named in the report. The initial investigation showed that the tricycle (plate number PY-6959) had just left a cemetery and cut into the inner lane of the southbound portion of EDSA near Balintawak. However, a speeding Toyota Innova (ZCU-981) driven by one James Nicolas hit the tricycle. – VVP, GMANews.TV
