Report: P2.8M worth of property destroyed in Cebu fire

At least P2.8 million worth of property was destroyed after a fire of undetermined origin razed some 80 houses in Cebu City on Monday night. Radio dzXL reported no one was reported hurt in the fire at C. Padilla Street in Duljo–Fatima in Cebu City. Arson investigators are verifying information that a candle left unattended started the fire. The fire reached Task Force Alpha and raged for two hours, destroying houses made of light materials before firefighters put it out. Firefighters had to get help from neighboring areas such as Talisay, Mandauer, Consolacion and Minglanilla. – VVP, GMANews.TV
