Shaq, Hamilton both miss Boston-Detroit game

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Shaquille O'Neal and Richard Hamilton are both out of the lineup for Boston's game at Detroit. O'Neal didn't make the trip for the Celtics. He had missed two straight practices since bruising his right knee against New York on Friday. Hamilton had a sore right foot, and Ben Gordon took his place in the starting lineup Tuesday night. Hamilton went only 2 of 10 from the field in Detroit's loss to Chicago on Saturday. The Pistons are trying to avoid their first 0-4 start since November 1999. — AP
