Margarito upbeat on his chances vs Pacquiao

Antonio Margarito has landed in Arlington, Texas, fit and ready for the biggest fight of his life. The 32-year-old Mexican's arrival in the second largest U.S. state comes six days before he faces the fearsome Manny Pacquiao inside the ring at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Margarito, known as the "Tijuana Tornado," was with trainer Robert Garcia, wife Michelle and a handful of supporters when they were warmly welcomed at the Dallas/Fortworth airport. He came in two days ahead of the 31-year-old Pacquiao, who won’t be touching ground until Monday evening (Tuesday morning, Manila time). A mariachi band highlighted the upbeat reception from his hardcore Mexican fans. A customized bus bearing his image and Pacquiao's fetched Margarito's party at the airport and brought them to the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine, Texas, where they will be staying until fight time. “We can’t wait for the fight. We’re ready," said the Mexican. Later in the day, Margarito, wearing a giant Mexican hat, showed up at the Dallas Market Hall for the Tamales festival, where he obliged fans by signing autographs and posing for pictures. He then proceeded to the La Gran Plaza Mall in FortWorth for an open public workout. - KY, RCJ, GMANews.TV
