Parts of Malabon, Navotas to go waterless Monday, Tuesday

Parts of Malabon and Navotas in northern Metro Manila may go without water this coming Monday and Tuesday, water concessionaire Maynilad Water announced. Maynilad said the service interruption, from 8 p.m. Monday (Nov. 15) to 8 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 16), is due to the interconnection of a 300-mm pipeline along Tanza Bridge in Malabon City. "This project will temporarily affect water service in (some) areas in Malabon and Navotas," it said in an advisory on its website. Areas to be affected include: Malabon City • Barangay Hulong Duhat • Barangay Bayan-Bayanan • Barangay Dampalit • Barangay Flores • Barangay Baritan Navotas City • Barangay Tanza Maynilad advised customers in these areas to store enough water for the duration of the water service interruption. — RSJ, GMANews.TV
