Justin Bieber praises Pacquiao, calls out Mayweather on Twitter

Who knew Justin Bieber was a boxing fan? The 16-year-old Canadian singing sensation tweeted his support for the Philippines' pride, Manny Pacquio, just after the latter's historical fight with Mexico's Antonio Margarito yesterday, November 15 in the Philippines. Bieber also boldly joined the public clamor for a fight between Pacquiao and the US' Floyd Mayweather, Jr. "heard Manny did work tonight. I think it's time we got the Money Mayweather fight we have all been waiting for. #EPICBATTLE," Bieber tweeted. Pacquiao and Mayweather are the number one and number two pound-for-pound boxers in the world, according to The Ring as of November 2010. Since late 2009, there has been high public demand to see a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather but the camps of both fighters have yet to come to an agreement. Bieber's tweet was just one among thousands that flew across cyberspace during yesterday's fight, which made #Pacquiao and #Margarito the top two trending topics on Twitter for the day. - GMANews.TV
