17,261 pass licensure exams for teachers


A total of 17,261 examinees passed the Licensure Exams for Teachers (LET) given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last September, the PRC announced Tuesday. Of this number, 7,737 became the country’s newest licensed elementary school teachers, while 9,493 passed the exam for secondary school teachers.
