Blast damages health center in Misamis Occidental

An explosion damaged a barangay health center in Misamis Occidental early Thursday morning . No one was hurt in the incident, said Senior Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr., National Police spokesperson. The initial reports showed the explosion occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday inside the health center of Barangay Looc, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental. Before the explosion took place, the chairman and village watchmen reportedly arrested several illegal fishermen. Probers are now eyeing the possibility that the incident was a handiwork of fishermen who are using dynamite. – VVP, GMANews.TV
