Phivolcs: Magnitude-3.7 quake rocks Samar

A magnitude-3.7 quake rocked Eastern Samar province Sunday night but there was no initial report of damage or casualty. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at 10 p.m. Sunday, with the epicenter at 41 km east of Borongan town. However, Phivolcs did not immediately specify areas where the quake was felt, and at what intensity. It also did not say if aftershocks were expected. — RSJ, GMANews.TV
