PCSO Grand Lotto jackpot eludes winners anew

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Grand Lotto 6/55 draw remained elusive as no one got the winning combination Monday night. Radio dzBB reported early Tuesday that there was no winner of the draw that featured one of the biggest prizes in the game’s history at P584.829 million. On Monday night, the PCSO released the winning combination 22-25-17-50-19-37, which would have made the winner P584,829,925.20 richer. But the dzBB report quoted the PCSO as saying that 111 bettors in last Saturday’s draw received consolation prizes of sorts for getting five of the six numbers right. These bettors got P150,000 each, the PCSO said. The winning combination for Saturday’s draw, which offered a prize of P543.66 million, was 18-17-36-04-40-13. Filipinos braved the rains and floods on Monday to buy tickets for Monday night’s draw. With the development, the prize is expected to balloon to some P620 million.
