Actor William Martinez suffers stroke


Actor William Martinez has suffered a stroke and is under observation at the ICU of St. Luke's Medical Center. Martinez' wife, actress Yayo Aguila, confirmed the information on QTV's Balitanghali news program. According to Aguila, the actor was brought to the hospital after he experienced a severe headache on Monday.

Martinez, best known for playing Tonton in the 80s hit series 'Bagets' is conscious, but still suffering a headache, Aguila said. She requested prayers and respect for their family's privacy as they go through the ordeal. — with Carmela Lapeña/RSJ/KBK, GMANews.TV
