In past weeks, no one guessed the winning combination for each draw. Earlier this week, bettors in Metro Manila braved heavy rains and flooded streets just to buy tickets for last Wednesday's lottery. Meanwhile, the PCSO's website remained partially offline as of Saturday morning. The site's section featuring the results of games was still down, caused by the transfer of the PCSO’s management information system to a new office at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City. Meanwhile, PCSO officials ensured the public of sufficient security, especially for Saturday's Grand Lotto draw, which is now offering a prize of more than P600 million as of posting time, according to a report on dzBB radio.
