DFA: Passport services open on December 2

Even if Thursday is expected to be declared a holiday in Pasay City, the Department of Foreign Affairs will remain open to provide consular and passport services on that day. Several offices in Pasay City are expected to be closed Thursday, December 2, the city's foundation anniversary. "The Department of Foreign Affairs – Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) wishes to inform the public that it will be open to provide full consular and passport services on December 2 (Thursday)," the DFA said in a statement posted on its website Tuesday. But it said the DFA-OCA Authentication Division at the DFA main building in Pasay City will be closed to the public in observance of the occasion.
