Alliance Global expands tourism portfolio to provinces

Alliance Global Inc. on Monday said it is spending P7 billion for new tourism-related projects outside Metro Manila. The company’s board of directors has approved the plan to expand the company’s tourism portfolio through pursuing tourism projects in provincial areas, the firm led by business tycoon Andrew Tan told the Philippine Stock Exchange. “Tourism is poised to become the country’s next sunshine industry. By strengthening its public-private partnership, the Aquino administration is opening the country to more infrastructure investments and making the Philippines [as a] tourist destination," Alliance Global president Kingson Sian said. Alliance Global’s tourism project is now concentrated on Resorts World Manila, the country’s first integrated tourism estate in Newport City across the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. — JE/VS, GMANews.TV
