Congressman's pickup truck explodes in Zambales

The pickup truck of Rep. Antonio Diaz (2nd district of Zambales) exploded at the house of his executive assistant in Zambales province on Monday. Diaz's blue Toyota Hi-lux pickup truck exploded at the garage of Glenn Elayda at Purok 5, Barangay Salaza, Palauig, Zambales. The initial investigation showed that Elayda's family saw that the pickup truck (with plate number WPY 829) was already on fire when they ran to check out the explosion at their garage. Elayda reportedly also saw an unidentified man running away from their house after the explosion. The police said no one was hurt in the incident. Authorities recovered a molotov bomb about a meter away from the vehicle. – VVP, GMANews.TV
