2 salvage victims found in Quiapo on human rights day

As the world marked International Human Rights Day, two bodies of supposed victims of summary execution were found in Manila's Quiapo district before dawn Friday. Radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported the victims bore no identification cards, and were dumped face down along Maria Carpena Street in Quiapo. While the report did not initially mention gunshot wounds on the victims, it said the four empty bullet shells found near the bodies suggested the victims were shot dead. The first victim was described as six feet tall, and about 25 years old. The second was described as 5'1" and about 35 years old. Their heads were wrapped with packaging tape while their hands and knees were bound with a nylon cord. — LBG, GMANews.TV
