PRC announces exams results for CPA, mechanical engineer in MidEast


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced successful examinees in licensure examinations for accountants, and professional and registered mechanical engineers, given this November in three Middle East countries. The PRC said 35 out of 96 passed the certified public accountant licensure exam; 23 passed the professional mechanical engineer exam; and 38 out of 145 passed the mechanical engineer licensure exam. Click here for the results of the CPA licensure exam Click here for the results of the professional mechanical engineer licensure exam The exams were given in Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia; and in Doha, Qatar The members of the Board of Accountancy are Eugene Mateo, chair; Ma. Elenita Cabrera, vice chair; and Luis Cañete, Rufo Mendoza and Jose Tayag, Jr. as members. Apart from the 35 passers, 10 others had their registration deferred by the PRC pending their compliance with registration requirements. On the other hand, the members of the Board of Mechanical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Leandro Conti, officer-in-charge, and Engr. Vicente B. Vosotros, member. Nine successful mechanical engineer licensure examination passers also had their registration deferred until they comply with registration requirements. The results of the examination of three other examinees are meanwhile withheld as the board identifies these students’ liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.—JMA/JV, GMANews.TV
