SWS: Aquino's approval rating goes up to +64

Despite the recent controversies hounding his six-month-old administration, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III continues to enjoy high approval ratings, a new survey by pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed. The results of the November 27-30 survey, published in SWS’ media partner BusinessWorld, showed that 74% of respondents were satisfied with Aquino’s performance against the 10% who said otherwise, for a net satisfaction score of +64. The SWS described the score as “very good," similar to the +60 mark Aquino received in September when he was first rated as president. In its survey, the SWS noted Aquino’s four-point rise in net satisfaction rating showed that he was “having a normal honeymoon period," as did his predecessors who all saw improvements from their first scores.
