Lascuna scores 66 in final round, places 13th in Camboadia Open
Antonio Lascuna fired a blistering six-under-par 66 to finish 13th in the $300,000 Johnnie Walker Cambodia Open won by Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee at the Phokeethra Country Club in Siem Reap, Cambodia. A pair of birdies in the early morning and another four-birdie swing in the final nine holes capped Lascuna's day of 34-32. It brought him to a nine-under 279, enough to pocket more than $4,400. Another Filipino, Artemio Murakami, was a stroke behind with 280 after a 71. His $3,780 earnings in Cambodia put him to 69th place in the Asian Tour Order of Merit (OOM) race. Juvic Pagunsan had a 73 for 282 worth $3,000. Other PHL bets who went into the weekend rounds were Michael Bibat (75-288) and Mars Pucay (74-289). Thongchai had a closing round of seven-under 65 to become the runaway winner. He finished with a 21-under 267. Japan's Kenichi Kuboya settled for second with 70-271. Korea’s Kim Hyung-sung returned with a 72 to take third place with 273 while India’s Anirban Lahiri and Guido Van der Valk of the Netherlands wound up in a tie for fourth to fifth places with a 274 each. - KY, RCJ, Adrian Flores, GMANews.TV
