PDEA gives away over P3-M reward to 7 drug informants


The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has given away over P3 million cash as a reward for seven informants who provided vital information that led to several successful anti-drug operations. PDEA's "Operation Private Eye" grants monetary rewards to informants who provide information leading to successful anti-drug operations. A total of P3,154,913.54 was distributed to seven informants. Two of the informants gave information leading to the dismantling of clandestine drug laboratories. One informant helped PDEA discover various Marijuana plantations and arrest a cultivator. The rest of the informants helped authorities arrest drug traffickers. PDEA Chief, Director General Senior Undersecretary Dionisio Santiago said “May our humble accomplishments serve as the best gifts that we can give to the Filipino people this Yuletide Season. We pledge greater dedication and commitment as we face the challenge of the New Year."
