Bomb threat hits Palawan capitol

For a few moments Wednesday, tension gripped employees at the Palawan provincial capitol following a bomb threat sent there through text message. Radio dzBB's Palawan affiliate reported that police searched the capitol after receiving information from local media about the bomb threat. The report said the local police sent an Explosives and Ordnance Team to the area. The team did not find any explosive, the report added. Authorities are still trying to trace the sender of the text message. On the other hand, police asked the public to remain vigilant against bomb threats during the holidays. — RSJ, GMANews.TV
