2 hurt in QC grenade blast — police

Two females were injured Thursday noon when a grenade exploded in a residential area in Quezon City, a police official said. In a text message, Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., spokesman for the Philippine National Police (PNP), said the explosion occurred around 12:27 p.m. along Ester Street in Goodwill 2 in Barangay Bagbag. Cruz did not identify the two casualties, but said they were rushed to Bernardo Hospital for treatment. “The case is under investigation," said Cruz. – KBK, GMANews.TV
