‘Glee’ star Mark Salling spending Xmas in Boracay, meets Pacquiao

American actor Mark Salling of the hit US musical television series “Glee," is spending his Christmas at the beaches of Boracay Island in the Philippines, his Twitter account said Saturday. “Merry Christmas from the beautiful island of Boracay," Salling tweeted at around 6 p.m. Saturday. Five hours later, the “Glee" star posted a picture of him and Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, whom he said he had a “Christmas dinner" with. Salling plays the character of bad boy Noah “Puck" Puckerman in “Glee." Another “Glee" star, half-Filipino and half-Irish Darren Criss, is also in the Philippines to visit his relatives in Manila. “Glee" also stars Philippine singing sensation Charice Pempengco, who plays the role of Filipina exchange student Sunshine Corazon in the musical TV show.—Andreo C.
