Raps filed vs 3 cops, 5 others for kidnap try, murder

Eight people, including three policemen, were slapped with various charges by the Pasay City police for the failed kidnapping of an Indian national and the killing of his two companions last month. The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) identified the three policemen, all assigned in Quezon City, as Chief Inspector Edwin Faycho, PO2 Edmond Faculdar and PO1 Mark Edward Zapata. The five other suspects were Gurdanshan Singh, Saudagar Singh, Deepak Kumar, and Baldev Singh Brar, all Indian nationals; and Charles Pineda Lou. The eight were charged with two counts of murder before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office for allegedly abducting and killing Ferdinand Ret and Andy Bryan Ngie on December 20 last year.
