PEP: AGB Nielsen Mega Manila People Ratings: Dwarfina makes a big impact

Dwarfina made a big impact on its pilot week as it surged ahead in the ratings game. This telefantasya from GMA-7 starring Heart Evangelista and Dennis Trillo posted a 15.4 percent on its debut last Monday, January 10, to claim the No. 1 spot in the primetime race. Although it maintained its top position, Dwarfina's numbers dropped to 14 percent on Tuesday (Jan. 11) and to 13 percent on Wednesday (Jan. 12). But bounced back to 13.4 percent on Thursday (Jan. 13). In contrast, the latest Kapuso Koreanovela The Baker King is slowly inching its way to the top. Now on its second week, The Baker King started this week at No. 5, tied with ABS-CBN's Imortal, with 11.6 percent. It climbed to No. 3 the following day (Jan. 11) with 11.9 percent. Then, jumped to No. 2 last Wednesday (Jan. 12) with 12 percent, and held on to that spot last Thursday (Jan. 13) with 12.1 percent. On the other hand, Imortal, starring John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin, leads the primetime campaign of ABS-CBN; posting ratings as high as 11.6 percent. Another GMA-7 Koreanovela, Temptation of Wife, is leading the daytime race along with the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga!. Kapuso afternoon soaps Koreana (starring Kris Bernal, Steven Silva, and Rocco Nacino) and Little Star (starring Jennylyn Mercado, Lovi Poe, and Mark Anthony Fernandez) take the third and fifth slots.
