Remains of Lozano's son transferred to QC church

The remains of the son of Marcos lawyer Oliver Lozano, a victim of a brutal carjack-slay, were transferred to a church in Quezon City shortly after noon on Thursday. Radio dzBB's Rodil Vega reported that the remains of Emerson Lozano were moved from St. Peter's Chapel at 12:30 p.m. and were brought to the Holy Family Parish Church in Quezon City. Members of the Lozano family were dressed in white during the transfer of Emerson's body to the church, and the vehicles that joined the convoy had white balloons. From the Holy Family Parish Church, Emerson's remains will be brought to the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City on Thursday afternoon.

The younger Lozano and his driver Ernani Sensil disappeared on January 12, after meeting a prospective buyer of his Kia Carnival van in Quezon City. Sensil's charred body was found in Tarlac the next day while that of Lozano was found in Pampanga on Friday. Lozano's van was found burning in a lot in Bataan before dawn yesterday. A P500,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the killers. – VVP, GMANews.TV
